Simple, user-friendly apps for everyday life.
Software should fit into your life, not the other way around.
Hi, I'm David
The guy behind EffortlessFlow.
EffortlessFlow is a tiny software team (currently just me) building simple, focused apps for everyday problems.
You know all those little things that make life harder than it needs to be?
- The wishlist scattered across three apps.
- The downloads folder you stopped opening.
- The thing you quietly gave up and learned to tolerate.
Most of what I build starts right there, with an annoying thing I noticed, and the thought surely there's a better way.
The plan is software that helps without becoming yet another thing to manage.
No accounts you didn't ask for, no features you have to learn. And I'm building it all in the open, one specific problem at a time.
Meet Toby
Toby is a wishlist with a brain and a bit of a personality. Tell it what you're wishing for in plain words, and it helps you set money aside until it's yours: your wishes ranked by what matters most, and a gentle nudge toward where your spare cash should go next.
- Talk to it like a friend: "I want a new laptop" is all it takes
- A ranked list that suggests what to fund first
- Fully offline and private: no account, no network
Not in stores yet: you're early. The build is being shared as it happens, and followers help shape what Toby becomes.
Follow the buildTwo screens from Toby: the chat where you describe what you're wishing for, and the ranked wishlist it keeps for you.
Surely there's a better way.
That's the question behind everything built here, and the honest answer is still being written, one app at a time. Follow along to watch the wins, the restarts, and the thinking in between. Help shape what comes next.
